Fraser Coast & Gympie Regional Projects Industry Briefing – Gympie – Thurs 11 July 2024

The Department of State Development and Infrastructure are hosting their annual Fraser Coast and Gympie Regional Projects Industry Briefing at The Pavilion Conference & Reception, Gympie on 11 July 2024 from 9am-2pm.

Attendees will learn about supplier opportunities and procurement schedules of some of the largest infrastructure projects in the Fraser Coast and Gympie region and enable regional businesses to connect with project representatives.

It will also take a look at the soon-to-be introduced mandatory sustainability reporting requirements for the types of large businesses that may secure principal contractor roles in these projects and what this means for businesses in their supply chains.

Queensland Hydro will be attending the event and Geoff Scott, Executive General Manager of Delivery will be presenting about the role of pumped hydro in Queensland’s transition to renewable energy, and providing an overview of our Borumba Pumped Hydro Project.

Attendees will also be able to engage with project representatives and be able to find out information about supply opportunities, including proposed timelines for package releases and how to register for our Borumba Pumped Hydro Project.
