Mark Irwin’s career history includes a demonstrated track record of commercial and strategic capability working across complex projects, investments and regulatory environments.

Mark’s last role was as CEO of Adbri Limited, a company listed on the ASX and he currently sits on the Board of Pacific Energy Group, a company owned by QIC.

In summary, Mark has had over 15 years experience as either a CEO or a C-suite executive, most of which was in the resources and agricultural sectors. Other experience includes OZ Minerals Limited (Chief Commercial Officer) GrainCorp Limited (CEO and Managing Director) and Consolidated Pastoral Company (CEO and Managing Director).

Paul is a Partner in the QIC Infrastructure team and has over 25 years domestic and international experience in the energy and utility sectors.  He represents QIC on the Board of Tilt Renewables and the ACCC / AER Infrastructure Consultative Committee. 

He has served in a number of CEO roles across Asia and Australia including being responsible for Engie’s activities in the Asia Pacific, heading the largest vertically integrated utility in Singapore (Senoko Energy), leading the Australian energy retailer Simply Energy and overseeing Lumea which is the entity responsible for Transgrid’s unregulated activities. 

Paul’s passion for providing sustainable energy solutions for customers led him to oversee Engie’s exit from coal fired generation in the Asia Pacific as well as the investment in customer solutions and new renewable generation in multiple developed and emerging economies including, Australia, Indonesia, Mongolia, and Malaysia. 

Michael is a Partner in the QIC Infrastructure team and has more than 20 years’ experience as a corporate/ commercial lawyer with extensive experience in direct equity investing, M&A, joint ventures, consortium arrangements, co-investments, investment structuring and capital raisings.

With overall responsibility for QIC Infrastructure’s legal function, Michael has a deep understanding of the strategic and commercial legal considerations relevant to new investments, divestments and asset management activities. Michael has previously been involved in the acquisition of interests in Queensland Motorways, Tilt Renewables, Lochard Energy, Epic Energy, the Port of Melbourne and Hobart Airport.

Before joining QIC, Michael was at King & Wood Mallesons where he gained extensive experience on a range of complex commercial transactions. Prior to this, Michael was at Milbank LLP in New York where he gained extensive experience on a range of securities, debt finance and M&A transactions.

With over 20 years’ experience in the Queensland public sector, including leadership roles within Queensland Treasury and the State’s central financing authority, Queensland Treasury Corporation, Greg has a strong track record implementing large-scale structural and regulatory reforms across Queensland’s State-owned utility sector and is well placed to drive our corporate function forward.

Over 25 years’ experience in major water, energy and hydro infrastructure development across Australia and New Zealand as asset owner (including Meridian, Sunwater and Powerlink). Brings a deep understanding of technical requirements, risks and challenges of major infrastructure development, grid connection and operation in the electricity market. Recent development experience includes Mokihinui Hydro (100 MW), North Bank Tunnel Hydro (260 MW), and Paradise Dam and Burdekin Dam business cases. Project Director for dam upgrade works on Fairbairn Dam, Burdekin Dam, and Boondooma Dam

Experienced General Counsel and Project Development Executive. Proven experience providing strategic legal guidance and delivering project rights for large-scale infrastructure projects. Currently leading the team that secured regulatory approval and native title consent for the Borumba Project’s exploratory works. Led Origin Energy’s legal team during the development of the $25 b Australia Pacific LNG Project through to first cargo. Improved landholder experience and delivered land access for subsequent gas field expansion. Former executive roles in the public sector focused on environmental regulation.

Geoff has over 25 years’ experience across multiple sectors including, Renewable Energy, Water, Pipelines, Oil & Gas, Materials Handling, Civil Infrastructure, Marine and Mining. Geoff brings skills and expertise in leading teams to achieve high performance on large remote projects.
