Capability Statement Workshop – Gympie – Wed 13 March

Poppies Room, Gympie RSL Club, 217 Mary Street, Gympie.

The Department of State Development and Infrastructure (DSDI) are hosting a practical and interactive capability statement workshop in Gympie on Wednesday 13 March 2024.  This interactive workshop is to help businesses develop and prepare effective capability statements.

A capability statement is a tool that allows procurement teams to assess expertise and achievements, as well as a supplier's potential to deliver goods and services. It is essential for applying for, and securing, tendering opportunities.

Queensland Hydro will also be attending the session, where we will be sharing information on supply chain opportunities for our Borumba Pumped Hydro Project.

To find out more about supply opportunities on the Borumba Project, please visit our Suppliers page.

The workshop will cover:

  • Why a capability statement is important
  • How to use a capability statement to market a product or service
  • How to use a capability statement to accompany contract tender submissions
  • Best practice fundamentals for developing and drafting a powerful capability statement
  • How to register with a procurement portal

The workshop will run from 9 AM to 12.30 PM AEST.

Register for the session here.
