Supplier Capability Development Workshop – Maryborough – Wed 19 June
Carriers Arms Hotel Motel, 405 Alice Street Maryborough.
ICN Queensland, supported by the Department of State Development and Infrastructure, are hosting an interactive Gateway by ICN Profile Improvement and Expression of Interest workshop in Maryborough on Wednesday, 19 June 2024.
Queensland Hydro will be attending the session, where we will be sharing information, including details for supply chain opportunities for the proposed Borumba Pumped Hydro Project.
What is Gateway by ICN?
Gateway by ICN is Australia’s most comprehensive supply chain solution, connecting capable verified suppliers across Australia and New Zealand with projects, big or small. It's a simple, easy-to-use tool for project buyers to communicate upcoming supply opportunities and for suppliers to showcase their capabilities. In fact, some of the country's largest projects, including Queensland Hydro's proposed Borumba Pumped Hydro Project at Imbil, south-west of Gympie, trust Gateway by ICN, backed by ICN's network of industry specialists, to maximise opportunities for local businesses.
Importance and use by Queensland Hydro
Queensland Hydro and its delivery partners use Gateway by ICN to communicate supply opportunities and accept registrations of interest for the Borumba and Pioneer-Burdekin Pumped Hydro projects. Ensuring your business has a complete, current, and accurate business profile on Gateway by ICN, and registering your interest in supply opportunities where your business has proven capability, will enable it to be identified, profiled, and correctly matched against supply opportunities for Queensland Hydro projects.
What will participants learn?
Workshop participants will learn how to:
- navigate the Gateway by ICN platform.
- position themselves apart from their competitors and elevate interest from project buyers by creating a compelling Gateway by ICN company profile.
- search for project and supply opportunities and submit compliant Expression of Interest.
- use ICN Queensland’s Tier Barometer Assessment to understand where their business sits in a typical major project supply chain.
